Inclusive Sustainability, Community Engagement & Climate Transitions
I am an independent advisor specialising in inclusive sustainability, community engagement, and climate transition delivery. I have worked with local governments, renewable energy developers, and mission-driven organisations to design and deliver climate and infrastructure projects that are socially legitimate, politically viable, and practically effective.
I hold a doctorate in inclusive sustainability, with research focused on the role of culture, policy, and ethnicity in electric vehicle adoption. Alongside this, I bring extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and public-facing work, supporting organisations to navigate complex, and often contested, sustainability challenges.
My work sits at the intersection of policy, culture, and lived experience. I help clients move beyond technically sound solutions to address the deeper social and cultural factors that determine whether projects succeed, stall, or face resistance.
How I Support Clients
I provide independent, senior-level support to organisations that need clarity, confidence, and credibility when delivering sustainability and infrastructure projects.
This includes:
- Helping organisations anticipate and manage social, cultural, and equity-related risks
- Designing credible community engagement that builds trust rather than compliance
- Supporting the responsible design and management of community benefit funding
I work flexibly, proportionately, and independently — offering support where in-house capacity is limited, or where an external perspective is valuable.
