PROcrastinating with Athena Kugblenu

I had such a great time chatting with my friend Athena for her podcast—this one’s for anyone who’s ever felt like their life doesn’t fit into a neat little box.

We talked about what it’s like being a multi-hyphenate: sports, inclusive sustainability, communications, content creation, parenting… all of it. I shared why I can’t not be involved in sport, how I emotionally navigate sustainability work without burning out, and why I’ve had to set actual timers on phone calls and place hard limits on voice notes (you know who you are).

We also got into:

  • Procrastination vs preservation (hello, Gardenscapes)
  • How I organise my chaotic brain using to-do “bubbles”
  • The pressure to create content vs staying true to yourself
  • Who gets to send you long voice notes (spoiler: it’s a short list)

It was honest, a bit chaotic in the best way, and full of those “I thought it was just me!” moments. If you’re balancing a million things, or just need to feel seen while folding laundry or going for a walk—this one’s for you.
